Our Story
Founded in 2018 by a mom of three, Wander & Roam was born out of necessity and love. Watching her little ones take their first steps—and inevitable tumbles—she quickly realized foam tiles weren’t the answer; they were impossible to keep clean and constantly scattered across the house thanks to curious little hands. Frustrated but driven to find a better solution, she embarked on a mission to create a playmat that was safe, stylish, and truly functional. After over a year of testing countless prototypes in her own home, she achieved the perfect balance: a one-piece, non-toxic playmat that is as practical as it is beautiful.
In 2024, Wander & Roam entered a new chapter under the leadership of Jillian, a wellness enthusiast and lifelong design lover. Growing up, Jillian shared a passion for design with her dad, spending hours flipping through Architectural Digest magazines and dreaming of one day creating something beautiful for homes. While life initially took her on a path of science and health—earning a degree in Kinesiology and practicing functional medicine in daily life—her love for design never faded. When the opportunity to merge her two passions arose, she knew it was the perfect fit.
Reimagining Wander & Roam as a brand that blends clean design with clean living, she pioneered its evolution into the clean baby and wellness niche.
