How soon will I receive my mat?

All mats are shipped ground and you should receive within 4-7 days.

 

What if the order I placed was for a preorder item?

Preordered items will ship out as soon as they are available.  See product page for estimated shipping dates.  Payment is captured when the order is placed.

 

Do your mats come with a warranty?

They do!  We offer a 1 year warranty on all of our play mats.  Just email us at hello@wander-and-roam.com with any issue you have with your mat and we will either help you fix it or replace it.  Please note that pet related issues are not covered under warranty.

 

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase!  In the event that you would like to return your mat, please contact as within 30 days of receiving your mat at hello@wander-and-roam.com.  Note mats purchased during warehouse sales are not returnable.

 

Do you have any promo codes or sales?

You may have noticed we don’t do promo codes or sales at wander & roam.  Our products are already priced as low as we can go, no promo code or sale is needed.  Keeping our price point consistent all year means all customers receive the same price, no matter what time of year they purchased.

 

Can I put furniture on top of my mat?

We don't recommend setting heavy furniture on the mats as they can create indentations and possibly damage the mat.  Lighter weight furniture is ok such as foam couches & bean bag chairs.

 

How do I unpack my mat?

Mats arrive rolled up with velcro straps.  Unwrap mats and place on a flat surface with the curled edges facing down to flatten for a few nights.  Save velcro straps for use when storing your mat.

 

How do I clean mat?

Wipe down with a damp cloth or baby wipe. We do not recommend the use of any cleaning agents to preserve the life of the mat.  For tougher spills, please reach out to us at hello@wander-and-roam.com and we will be happy to help you find a solution!  

 

I received my mat and the edges of the mat are curled, how do I flatten out the mat?

Mats are shipped rolled which will result in curled edges upon arrival.  Place on a flat surface with the curled edges facing down to flatten overnight. 

 

My mat slips when set on hardwood floors, is there anything I can do to stop the slipping?

Since our mats are reversible, both sides of our mats are made of super soft foam and may slip, like any rug or mat without a non-slip backing when set on hardwood or tile.  We recommend setting your mat against a wall or furniture when possible or to use a rug pad to prevent slipping.

 

Can I use two mats together in the same space?

Yes!  But please note when using more than one mat together the pattern may not align.

 

Is the mat safe around my pets?

Yes!  Mats are safe around pets and most don't even notice the difference between the mat and an area rug.  There is always a possibility that sharp nails could puncture the mat as with all foam surfaces.

 

Can I vacuum the mat?

We do not recommend using heavy upright vacuums or robotic vacuums as they can damage the mat.  We have found that lightweight vacuums do best when cleaning up smaller spills on the mat.

 

What are your mats made of?

Our mats are made of non-toxic TPU foam. Completely free of PVC, BPA, formaldehyde & latex.. Mats have been rigorously tested to meet all US & European Toy Standards. 

 

How are your mats eco-friendly?

Our mats are made of a material that does not harm the environment in production, use or disposal.

 

Are your mats durable?

Absolutely!  Mats are built to last for years and years of use.

 

Where are your mats manufactured?

Our mats are manufactured in China.
